Deeper Life - Our History
In the fall of 1982, Deeper Life Christian Church was established in Tampa, Florida. In a small store front setting, then located on Hillsborough Avenue, the church began with a small congregation of thirty members. Over the years, the church grew through the powerful, teaching and ministry of Bishop M.B. & Pastor Brenda Jefferson.
In the spring of 1993, Deeper Life Christian Church relocated into a new facility, located on Nebraska Avenue, which is now the national headquarters for Deeper Life Christian Church, House of David Help Centers, and World Assemblies Fellowship International. However, in 2001, a massive plan was developed to renovate this site. Through dedicated leadership and support, members worked diligently to bring this vision to fruition. Today, Deeper Life Christian Church has a membership which has reached beyond its anticipated growth and we look forward to expanding our new Church in Brandon, Florida.
Deeper Life Christian Church has continued to increase with over 70 affiliate churches throughout the continental United States, Africa, the Caribbean and other nations.

The focus of Deeper Life Christian ministry includes its fiery worship services with a main priority of holiness, righteousness, and family life! Emphasizing professionalism, competence, and integrity in order to foster partnerships with other God Believers, fulfilling the commission commanded by our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ in Mark 16:15, "Go ye into all the world and teach the gospel to every creature..."
